Recently noticed that B/W scanner images saved as Adobe bitmaps don’t rotate as a unit as for color and/or PSD images. As rotation increases, image shows sawtooth edges and internal image correspondingly offset- almost like the rotation was proceeding as slabs. Never had any problem with thousands of color bitmaps done previously. Is B/W really harder or have I got some setting wrong? I can do all desired image correction with PSD’s and then convert to bitmap later, but it would be nice to have some tutorial, etc. on B/W limitations, if any. Problem occurs with more than one OS and PC, so SW is not contaminated. Scanning B/W photos with Epson 2450 w/ 300 resolution.
