Is it possible to delete the metadata from PS files in batch mode? I have tried creating an action, but it does not record the deletion. I need to do this at hires ("save for web" not an option) and for multiple images.
Thanks.
Mark

Copy the file, paste it into a new doc, save the new doc.

Then record an action that does that.

Not sure what you mean. I open a PS doc, select "File Info," select the PS data, delete it, save the doc as flattened TIFF. I now have a tiff file without the history. When I do the same and record as an action. It does not delete the PS history.

Right: the File Info panel isn’t actionable.

Opening a doc, copying all the pixels, and pasting into a new doc will give you the same pixels, with no metadata.
