ok there are 2 questions here
1:
i tried to do this today and noticed something and not sure if is by design or a bug
but if i have an image and i go to blending options, bevel & emboss, texture and select a pattern, it will apply the pattern but in greyscale however if i do it from pattern overlay, it will apply the same pattern, as it is in color
is this by design that it puts it in greyscale and not in color from that option? i never noticed if it did that in previous versions. running cs2 on xp

i have some psd’s that i had made last year
i open them today, made changes, and saved it without a problem now i can’t open it again directly through photoshop. it says it can’t open it because it found an invalid jpeg marker
however, if i open it through bridge, it opens fine in photoshop anyone else experience this?
