Uninstall Photoshop 7 after upgrade?

Just upgraded my Photoshop version 7 to Photoshop CS2. Looks like I now have both versions on my machine. Can I uninstall version 7 and leave CS2 fully functional? I’m running Windows 2000 if it makes a difference.

Yes, but do not delete any shared dlls.
