Is there a way to change a rgb pdf to a cmyk pdf?
Any info would be helpfull.

It appears that, if you open an RGB PDF in Acrobat 6 Pro; set your color settings in Acrobat Prefs. to include your required CMYK settings and Save As…, the resulting file is automatically saved with CMYK seps.

You can check this by going to Advanced menu/View Separations. If you then place the saved PDF in InDesign and look at the Separations Preview, you will see that the 4c process plates are present.

[I have never tried to make a PDF for Press this way, but experimenting just now, seems to show that perhaps, in a pinch. you could!]

Open it in Acrobat – then print it to distiller and make sure that the color settings in the Distiller job options are set for the CMYK space you wish.

Does Distiller actually do this any better than just doing it directly in Acrobat 6 Pro? I can’t see any difference in the resulting Seps.—either way.
