ok, i have searched all over and tried many different solutions, its time to just ask 🙂
I have a jpg that I need the largest dimension to be at most 1024 pixels and have enough resolution to read the text on it (its a plot map). It is currently 5114×6504 (17.047in x 21.673in) at 300ppi. I am using CS.
When I use Image Size and set the Pixel Dimension height to 1024, the image degrades and text becomes unreadable. I try to increase the Resolution setting, but this in turn changes the Pixel Dimensions Ive tried many ways to get around this but have wasted days any help appreciated.
Thanks!
Jason
