Is it right that every time I restart Photoshop CS2, the workspace is reset to the default?

I’ve saved my favoured workspace as "Joe’s" – this includes keyboard shortcuts like F8 to change images to 8 bit mode, as well as palette locations like docking the Styles and not showing the Swatches. You know the sort of stuff.

I may be mistaken, but I thought that I used to be able to restart Photoshop and my workspace would still be in force. Maybe I have changed some setting, but now I get the default each time. Any thoughts?

In Edit > Preferences > General check "Save Palette locations".

Thanks John. I must have looked at Prefs so many times and not seen what was so obvious.
