Why is color changing from PSD to EPS?

Using OS 9.2.2,Ricoh Aficio Color 6513 printer,Adobe Photoshop 7- file is created and saved as PSD file and printed and then is flattened and saved as EPS and printed and the color is completely different. Why?

profile missing or being misunderstood by rip?

are you printing directly from PS?

EPS containing colour settings?

Yes I am printing directly from PS but it looks the same from Quark also. If it was missing from RIP wouldn’t it be messed up on both? Can you give more info on the EPS color settings?

well, your rip could be misinterpreting the profile, or "include transfer function" or "postcript colour management" could be on?
