fonts are missing from character panel

have all up-to-date software for PS 7.x and use Font Book to manage my fonts. heaps of fonts are missing. running suitcase hasn’t helped either. any suggestions?

Do a forum search on Photoshop font limit. Activate only those fonts you need for the job at hand. Recommend FontAgent Pro as a font management utility, but you can also use Suitcase for this purpose.
