When I open an image in Adobe Photoshop, it is displayed brighter than in the Windows image viewer or in Windows Explorer.
I’ve looked for settings in Photoshop to correct this problem, but I can’t find it. How can I display images in the same brightness as in Windows?

What do the prints look like?
PS is a colour managed application, Windows media viewer is not. If PS is calibrated correctly then that is how the images look.
