slicing then replacing image with video?

how do i do this?

I sliced up an image of a tv that I created in photoshop and tried replacing the central (tv screen) image with a video clip when i viewed it it had gaps in it?!

is there a tutorial anywhere or does anyone know how to sort this problem out?!
