Save as PSD get Disk Error

I have a G4 Power book. I use Photoshop CS. When I try to save a document as a psd file, it says that it can’t do it because of a disk error. I can save it for the web though. Can someone help me?

Get your drive checked it sounds as if it is dying

Either that, or the hard drive had gone to sleep, didn’t wake up in time to save and generated the disk error message, but was fully awake when the Save For Web was done.

I hate laptops.

I hate laptops.

But don’t think that just because they put handles on G4s and G5s they become portables. <vbg>

Admittedly, I’m not a big fan of laptops either. Too many compromises for me.

But, yes. The drive and its connections should probably be checked out.
