Hello

I have an image mostly grayscale, it needs to be a 2 color image, a couple of the images have an outer glow that I set to a Pantone color. I also have a drawing that I copy and pasted from Illustrator into Photoshop, same Pantone color.

So I’m wondering is this fine the way it is? or do I need to save it as something special since it’s still in CMYK, I’m guessing I have to do something with a spot channel to make this a true two color file? Anyways if this makes sense to you and you could suggest what I need to do that would be great, thanks.

I know you’ll have to save it as a DCS2. After you do that, try printing laser seps from your layout app. You say it’s mostly grayscale, does that mean you’ve got everything on the black channel? That will be significant.
Hope that helps at all,
Ken
