This problem affects PS 6 or CS2.
Whenever I open a file through File>Open, the software crashes. But, if I already have a file open (through other means), I can open a file without a problem.

The same problem occurs with save.

Any ideas?

Have you tried trashing the preferences?

That was the first thing I did. No dice. I thought it may be related to ICC profiles, so I got rid of them. No dice either. ICC profiles are creating another problem (perhaps related, perhaps not) with acrobat. After scanning in a document, it crashes when trying to save. If I preload a document, scan into it, remove other pages except for the one I scanned, it saves.
