how do i get a piece of colour into a black and white photo … i’ve converted it in photoshop from colour to greyscale… ((or is that where i’m going wrong)) I’m a newbie to this photoshop stuff, so i’m in dire need of some help!!!

Go to Image> Mode> RGB. You can’t put color in an image that is not in a color mode. After you do that come back here and we’ll talk you down.
