Upgrade educational version to CS2?

I have PS CS educational version. It appears that there is no CS2 upgrade specifically for the educational version. Will the standard CS2 upgrade work?

If you’re no longer eligibel for academic pricing then go for the commerial upgrade.

Adobe has the most lenient academic licensing in the industry. The only restrictions are on buying it and selling it. You can use it for commerical work and its eligible for upgrades any time.

From your answer, I take it that the commercial upgrade will work – please confirm. I’m still eligible for the educational version, but strangely, the only reference I ever found to an upgrade for the educational version is from B&H (link below), and the educational upgrade costs MORE than the commercial version. I’ve purchased may products from B&H, but they may have got this one wrong.

I can confirm that. it’s the route i took.

re: your link… those aren’t edu versions. i don’t think they make an "upgrade education" version as the full edu version costs about the same as a standard upgrade. the first couple in the link are for the full suite. the rest look like straight commercial upgrades.
