I’m using Photoshop 6.0 at work (no choice, as it’s the license they have and they won’t upgrade). I’ve had coworkers and partners send very large logos and images in the EPS format, but when I open them, Photoshop resizes them (and usually much smaller).

Is there a default setting I can change to prevent this from happening? *Why* is PS resizing EPS files, but leaving all others "as is"?

Any help or pointers will be appreciated.

How do you know they are resized?

What where these EPS files created with?

Why are you assuming these are Photoshop EPS files? If they’re logos, chances are they’re vector EPS files and you’re not doing anyone any favors opening them in Photoshop.
