Drive is not under warranty. How often do I need to run Disk Warrior? I ran it two days ago. I keep my data regularly backed up.

If you ran DW "only two days ago" and you are already getting "damaged disk" messages, you can probably take it that your HD will drop dead within the next few hours.

Make sure that it is fully backed-up; then install a new HD immediately.

I got one single message in the last 10 hours of work. I found a tech doc with about a dozen different things to check. I’m doing some of those, like resetting preferences, checking memory, cables, etc. before I replace a hard drive. I’m backed up.
