Hi, I make lots of animations with Imageready but I’m tired of the standard square or rectangular variety. I’d like to know how to make an animation (with a clip) into an odd shape. I’ve seen some in the shape of a cloud with a music video within the cloud.

I’ve googled and googled but I haven’t found a tutorial. I know I can erase by using the quick mask mode and paintbrush but it isn’t adequate nor do I know how to apply it to all of the frames and not just a lone frame.

I tried to find an example but couldn’t. Any help would be much appreciated.

Leave some of the pixels transparent.

I’m no expert, but that should do it.

You may want to look into creating a "Media Skin" as a windowless "container" for a QuickTime movie.

Sorry for the late response, I thought I’d get an e-mail notification.

Does this mean I would be able to save it as a .gif?
