I searched for this but I could not find it…

I have the CS2 trial version installed (10 days left) and I just received my CD of the paid version. Do I need to uninstall the trial version before I install the paid version? Should I uninstall everything (CS2, Bridge, Image Ready, preferences, paths, etc.)?

Thanks for your help.

Regards,

Rafael

Yes, just trash it and empty the trash. Save (from within Photoshop) what you want to keep only, like presets, any actions you may have created, paths, etc.

Thanks!

Where would I find the actions I created? Are they saved under a different name from the one that shows up in the palette?

Never mind…I figured it out.

Actions are only "Saved" permanently if you save then from the pop-out menu in the Actions palette itself.

Until you do that they are only stored temporarily in your Prefs., and will be lost if Photoshop crashes or if you trash your Preferences.
