Hello,

What the topic said, how do I fade an image from 100% transparent to 0% evenly across the image?

THanks,

At the bottom of the Layers palette, click the "Add layer mask" icon. (This will not work on the Background layer, so duplicate it if necessary, and then un-tick the eye on the Background layer to make it invisible.) Press "G" to select the Gradient tool. In the Options bar, select the "Black, White" preset, and click the Linear Gradient button. Drag across the image to apply the effect.
