In PS CS, I’ve accidently placed two crosshairs with a 1 and a 2 next to them. I’ve done this before years ago and I forget how to get rid of them. I just noticed that when I’m in a Selection tool they disappear, but appear when in the Brush or Paint Can tools.

They’re eyedropper samples, go to the eyedropper sampler tool and clear them.
