Photoshop could not open files

Maybe files you are trying to open were not created in Photoshop? Photoshop will open any JPEG (or other graphical format) even if the file was created in another program. But clicking on the file will not launch Photoshop until it is saved in Photoshop.

Doesn’t work that way in the Windows world, Ingrid.
Image file can be associated with any imaging program. You set what app to open what type file with in the OS options.

Thanks guys for the replies!

But I’m still don’t know what could be happening!

I made it a test with a Photoshop 4.0 and works just fine.

That’s weird!! Don’t you think?
