I’m trying to install Photoshop CS2 onto a 24" iMac (Intel 2.4ghz) running Leopard. I’ve successfully installed on 4 other identical machines but this one is giving me a hard time. It proceeds through the installation process and gets to ‘Installing Shared Packages’. The Adobe Help Center appears to open, then close, then an application called StatusCenter opens and the error occurs.
The error states:
An error occurred during the installation process:
an error occurred while installing addition al Adobe packages
This has an ‘OK’ button which after clicking I get the following message:
An error occurred during the installation process:
a required file is missing
This has an ‘OK button and after clicking this the installation window says:
Install Failed
The following install step failed: run postflight script for Adobe Photoshop CS2.
I tried several disks and get the same error. I installed a bunch of other Adobe apps on the same machine with no issues.
Any thoughts folks?
