hi everyone.

here’s my problem.

let’s say i wanna just hand animate all the letters in my text layer (for example..if the text layer was a sentence)…is there a way that i can type out a word/sentence and then easily break the word into seperate layers?

there’s GOTTA be a way…right?

do u REALLY have to individually make all those text layers?!

please let me know.
thanx

Unless someone has created a script (check the Adobe Exchange <http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/exchange/index.cfm> or ask in the Scripting Forum <http://www.adobeforums.com/cgi-bin/webx?13@@.ef7f2cb>), then yeah, you’re going to have to do it manually.

Or create the text in Illustrator and then do a release to layers (sequence) from the Illustrator Layer’s palette…(Text>Create Outlines first)

You can then Export the file as AI Layers to SWF Frames if you are taking the text into Flash…
