cropping with dimension

I try to enter the values in width, height and resolution box, I even entered the mm as the measurement. But when I crop, the crop box is not really follow my measurement. Can anyone tell why? Thanks

More info would be good. How far off is it? You have to be aware that Cropping must be constrained to whole pixels. There can’t be a fraction of a pixel.

Make sure you press the "Clear" button first.

If it is still giving problems, reset the tool by right-clicking on the little icon in the Options bar.
