I’ve just switched to mac from pc and I can’t figure out how to get a nice background in PS when working. On the pc PS had a nice grey background when working and on the mac it’s transparent and I can see whatever else is running on the machine. Is there a way to do this on the mac?

Thanks

Try this…

Or toggle the ‘F’ key in Photoshop.

Or wait for Photoshop CS4

djeeper,

You can also set your Mac’s Desktop to be neutral grey through System Preferences –> Desktop & Screen Saver. It doesn’t have to be the default blue design or whatever you currently have as your Desktop background.

BTW, that is the Mac way. You’ll get used to it and may come to prefer it.
