Hi All,

Needing to do some batch file resizing to certain specs. I’ve got a folder full of images, some that are horizontal and some that vertical.

What I need to do is batch resize them so that, for instance, the horizontal images resize to 400 pixels wide while a vertical resizes to 300 pixels tall.

Is there any sort of IF/THEN statement in an action that can do that? Automatically detect "If the width is greater than the height, change width to 400 pixels" and/or "If the height is greater than the width, change height to 300 pixels"

Hope this makes some sort of sense. Many thanks!

File – Automate – FitImage
or
File – Scripts – Image Processor

Both should do what you want.

You probably missed it because they are both stuck away in the Scripts menu.
