Photoshop type appears condensed

I’ve run into an issue where type appears to be condensed in Photoshop CS3. It happens with any typeface I choose. I’m on an PowerPC iMac and using Suitcase over a network. Any ideas why this is happening?

Check your horizontal scale.

You can try resetting the type tool and see if that helps.

It was the horizontal scale, which was set to 90%. Much thanks!
