Hi
My friend and I shot a wedding recently both using Canon Digital Cameras. We both converted some of these to Black and white.
I have Elements 2.0 and I used all the methods I know, Grayscale, remove colour and the Hue Saturation command using layers (the russell brown technique)
He has Elements 7.0 and used Image >Adjustments> Desaturate.
Whatever way I look at them, his pictures -to me seem better, the white dress is illuminated by the B&W photos
Does Elements have Image >Adjustments> Desaturate command. And why should his pictures look better than mine
I am a novice at Elements so excuse me if this is a stupid question.
We both have Canon cameras and both pictures were shot with same aperture and shutter speed.
