transforming smart object in CS4 is good but …….

In the options bar, set all the parameters to their default values (100% scaling, zero translation, etc.).

There is no one button method to remove a transform from a smart object. (nobody requested it before now)

Consider　it requested! It is a very good concept I think this brings up the question once again about letting a user create and savwe history states. L+ayer Comps are great but still in all on a retouching or composition project which could take days thios is essentail.

Beable to go back in time is a powerful asset.

That function only when you scale the SO. But when you change the the perspectiv or you free transform it, than it would not function.
