all my other adobe cs3 apps will. i run a 1.8 ghz powerpc mac g5 with 4.5 gb ddr sdram. osx 10.4.11. it used to work, but all of a sudden stopped. i have tried checking fonts for corruption, trashing prefs, reinstalling after uninstalling. nothing has brought it back. it must be something simple that someone knows about. i saw one other topic on this, but there was nothing new to add to what i have already tried. if you can help i would appreciate it.

thanks
d

Basic troubleshooting step: make a fresh, new account and log in as a different user. Does the problem go away or persist?

Then your problem is system related or application related.

First I would run Diskwarrior if that does not fix it then I would do an A & I

You can choose to do an Archive and install of the OS. then upgrade. An A & I will keep all settings and applications intact and give you a fresh system.

or reinstall Photoshop If one does not fix it then the other most likely will. My first choice is to always do the system first.
