How do I change color settings in Illustrator to 11.0 so that I can import unflattened image from Photoshop?

Edit -> Colour Settings maybe?

Unless you’re asking for what configuration you need?

In which case, the settings have to match between applications

Have to be RGB, use the 300dpi and then the greyed out options will spring to life.

It would seen that I have an embedded color profile mismatch. Should I convert to the working space?

In this case it would be OK, BUT, you should check the colours both ways, it is a tricky question to answer.
