does anybody body have a suggestion on how to best design a large poster 6ft x 12ft without the agony of waiting for action to complete ?

What resolution?
I’ve seen posters created at less than 50ppi which looked good at the "normal" viewing distance.

i was thinking 150.
It is in he realms of possibility considering PS max output size being 30000 pixels.
How far away will the poser be viewed at? 150 seems a bit generous. The speed factor is also dependant on your hardware specs. TWK
