Apologies for posting a lightroom post in here – but couldn’t find another NG.

why wont lightroom import RAW files and TIFF files from the same folder?

It will import my Pentax PEF files, but not Tiff files with the same filename?

EG, if a folder has

ABCD.PEF

ABCD.TIFF

EFGH.PEF

EFGH.TIFF

and I try to import all of them – only the PEFs import.

As far as I know, Lightroom will only import one of each filenameinto a folder (regardless of extension) so the workaround is clearly to separate the like-named files, import them separately and then combine the folders.

This is a known PITA issue at Adobe Forums
