I am trying to change the color of a white shirt using the Replace Color command but it will not work. I can change other colors but not white?

Michael, I don’t see where you got an answer to this. I haven’t tested it, but I believe what you’ve observed is correct – Replace Color won’t work with white. This is probably because there’s no pixel information at all in a pure white area of an image, so there’s nothing to replace. An alternative is to select the white area using the Magic Wand tool, create a new layer via Layer>New>Layer via copy, then fill that layer with another color (Edit>Fill and use a color you’ve pre-selected in the Color Picker). You may need to play with the opacity and blending mode (try Color) of the new layer to get the desired effect.

Hope that works for you.

Pretty much right, Chuck.
Pure black is same way.
