CS 2 on a Mac OS X 10.4.11.
When I place the cursor in the document, it does not show up (marquee, type tool, brush, etc.). I can use the tool (for example, draw a box, draw with the brush, or type), but it doesn’t show me where I am to start with. And there is also a random plus sign showing up that gets stuck on the page. Also, a box of options is randomly showing up. I feel like the cursor thing happened once before, but I don’t remember what it was or how I fixed it. I thought it might be that the caps lock was on, but that’s not it. Please help!!!

Never mind, problem solved. It turned out that the switch on the side of my Wacom pen was stuck and somehow created this problem.
