I would switch to quick mask mode and create a circular gradient to cover the well exposed area. Then exit quick mask mode which will give you a selection. Invert the selection so that you now have the under exposed area selected and then apply Levels or whatever correction you want. You may have to play with the gradient to get it just right but if they are all the same then you should be able to use the selection over and over.
