I have an old version of Paint Shop Pro (Version 5). How would it compare with Photoshop Elements if I got the latest version of PSP? What advantages or limitations does Elements have? Would Microsoft Digital Image Suite compare at all?

Microsoft never has been … and probably never will be … a factor in the real-world graphics software field. They simply do **NOT** understand things like graphics, images, vector drawing, color management, typography, fonts, page layout … and so forth.
