I have just replaced my Nikon D70 @ 6.1 Meg with a D80 @ 10 meg yet the raw images opened via bridge are the same size ie the largest size that Bridge gives me the choice of opening – 6144×4080 which translates to 20.4×13.6 inches a D80 image is no larger than a D70. And when opened, images from both cameras are the same 71.8 Meg. I was expecting bigger from the D80 which is why I bought it…..????

check the default settings on the camera. sometimes the defaults are not set to maximum resolution (i’m thoinking of my older olympus, not a nikon so i could be way wrong!) 🙂
