I’d like to run an action on a folder that contains subfolders and then save the file back in the subfolder with a new name as well as in another folder.
The directory structure is:
top –> item1 –> item1_1.jpg, item1_2.jpg, …
top –> item2 –> item2_1.jpg, item2_2.jpg, …
And all I want to do is apply logo, save file, resize as thumbnail, save with a suffix "t" and then also save thumbnail in a separate thumbnail directory
The result would be:
top –> item1 –> item1_1.jpg, item1_1t.jpg, item1_2.jpg, item1_2t.jpg,… top –> item2 –> item2_1.jpg, item2_1t.jpg, item2_2.jpg, item2_2t.jpg,… top –> thumbnail –> item1_1t.jpg, item1_2t.jpg, item2_1t.jpg, item2_2t.jpg, …
I’ve tried using Automate–> Batch. If I run the Batch command twice, I can get the original file with a logo in the original subfolder using the "Save and Close" command as the first step. And then run the Batch command again to resize the file and use the "Override Action and Save As" command to add the suffix "t" and put the resized file in the thumbnail folder but how do I also get it back in the subfolder?
Thanks for any advice!!
