I am using PS CS. I have a graphic that has a drop shadow on it with an angle of 120 degrees. When I drag that graphic to another file the drop shadow shifts to a 30 degree angle. The same thing happens when I use the copy/paste layer style. Both files are CMYK at 300dpi. Has anyone had this happen before? I am having it consistently happen in 5 different files I’m working on. Have I missed a setting somewhere? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The drop Shadow in the first file probably has Global Lighting on – and so has the rest of the files, but with differing angles. Turn off Global Lighting in the drop shadow options.

Mathias,

That solved my problem. Thanks for the help.
