Curves in CS

Opening a .jpg Image in CS2, then trying to open curves I get an eye dropper icon and must quit photoshop to do anything else.

I have re installed CS2, the issue is still there. What am I missing, thank you for your help

Try resetting the Preferences as detailed in the FAQs

Ok, problem solved. It is the simple things that get you. When I posted my question I was going to do a quick move on the curves, I open up the image and hit curves. I neglected to turn on my other monitor. All the time the curves window was open and I did not know. I now have a post it note to turn on second monitor. Thanks for the help.
