Hello,
I’m trying to get a 3-5 pixel stroke inside a letter of text. Example is "CAR SPA" at this link. <http://empdigital.net/images/car_spa_biz_crd_frnt.jpg>
Can anyone help?

With your text layer active, hit the layer style icon and choose "Stroke". In the dialogue box you’ll have the option of setting the stroke line to outer, centre, or inner.
