Just got a Canon Powershot G6, and with any photo taken by that camera I cannot use the "Save for web" function. I get an error message: "could not complete the export command because this version of photoshop does not supply the services required by this plug-in module".

What the heck?? It has always worked fine before, and still works on the images I took with my Kodak Easyshare camera.

I did try resetting the Preferences file as suggested in another post, but that didn’t help.

Judy…

Is it possible that you have the camera set to produce RAW images rather than JPEG? Elements 1 an 2 do not support RAW.

No – it is set to "fine" but not "raw".

Thanks

Hmmm, it seems to have fixed itself!!

I went into Windows Explorer and clicked on one of my recent photos and told it to open with "Photoshop Elements" — then PE started up and I asked the file to open and it did!!!

After that, no problem. Maybe the file association got wierd or something.
