I use CS3(windows XP) and a Canon MP800 Printer. In the printer profile box there are 6 options for canon paper codes. – MP2/PR1/PR2/PR3/SP2/SP4. Neither Canon or Adobe can tell me what Canon Papers they refer to. I want to control colour management in photoshop so using the correct code for the revelant paper is essential.

I believe the MP2 refers to Canon matte paper at print quality 2. PR1-3 is Canon Professional glossy paper at print quality 1-3, and SP2,4 is their standard glossy paper. The PR1 and PR3 profiles work well for me on the matched paper but I have a different Canon printer.
