How to transform a photo like it’s wrapped around a soda can?

I am trying to transform a picture so it’s curved, but only the top and bottom edges. The left and right sides stay straight. How can I drag the top middle, middle and bottom middle points from the bounding box down and having the picture stay in the same scale? I want the photo to look like it’s wrapped around a soda can. Thanks!

Sabine,

Rotate the layer 90% and apply the shear filter, then rotate 90% back. You may need to expand the canvas size to prevent clipping depending on how large the "label" is with respect to the entire picture.

You’ll get a more realistic effect if you use the following tutorial prior to using the shear filter:
