Hello.

I’m trying to figure out a way to take a pattern and apply it to a photograph of a head so that the pattern conforms to its contours. I’ve included a photo of the effect I’m looking for (taken from this month’s ArtForum magazine).

Any suggestions on how to do this? I’m quite new to photoshop btw, but a willing learner nevertheless.
