Adobe’s website says I can update to CS3 Design Premium from the Macromedia Suite. I have Studio MX laying around here and I never used it to upgrade. Can I use it to get the upgrade price or do I have to have Studio 8?

I found the answer in the CS3 FAQ.

For anybody that is curious:

Can I upgrade to Adobe Creative Suite 3 Design Premium, and how much does it cost? You can upgrade to Adobe Creative Suite 3 Design Premium for an estimated street price of US$599 (excluding applicable taxes and shipping) if you own one of these qualifying products:

* A previous version of Adobe Creative Suite (2.0 Premium, 2.0 Standard, 1.x Premium, or 1.x Standard)
* A previous version of Macromedia® Studio (8, MX 2004, or MX)
