I’m trying to make some plain rectangular colored backgrounds, approx 1" x 2". I want the colors to be very light pastel, not obtrusive at all, but somewhat noticeable. I have picked a color and applied a soft radial gradient. So far, so good.
But I would like to give them a little more… I don’t know what to call it – gloss? A slight glow, maybe a little brassy? I don’t really know how to describe the look I’m after, but it would almost be like a shiny pastel candy, attractive but not in-your-face.
Can someone tell me how to do that?
